  Is there any express option for visa stamped?

  I am looking for a family reunion Visa for my wife and hence applied at German consulate bangalore.
  I received an email asked to contact VFS to carry out the stamping process for this. They want me to send my passport.
  1. I have Mailed VFS but still I have not received any response from them. Is there any other way to contact the Consulate and get the visa stamped by ourself without the help of VFS?
  2. How much time it take normally to get the visa stamped or is there any express option in VFS
