    What does Erwerbstätigkeit erlaubt on Visa means?

    I have been living in Munich for the last 5.5 years and I am on my third visa.
    My third visa looks different from the previous visa as it is an electronic card and the card says: Erwerbstätigkeit erlaubt. At the time of renewal I never asked for it.
    Does this Erwerbstätigkeit erlaubt phrase means I’m allowed to work in Germany or I can do any kind of work in Germany?

    Does this mean if I have to take a full time job i need to apply for a new visa for the residence permit for qualified skilled workers and my salary must be over the gross monthly amount stated for 2022 as I am a freelancer?

    You don’t request it. It just comes automatically after three years.
