Recently Germany introduced APS CERTIFICATE for grad admissions in Germany for Indian students. Just wanted to know how is APS certificate different from Uni-assist process?
If we are applying to German universities via Uni-assist, do we need the APS CERTIFICATE? -

To get a student visa you must have an APS certificate. VFS or the embassy will not give you an appointment without having APS. It is possible that universities may ask for APS certificate during application. There is no option to skip this. They scrutinize your academic documents and then only give the approval while uni assist check your grades as per German grades and then the document is forwarded to the universities.
